JOHN WICK'S DOG DAISY

This is a pattern for John Wick’s beagle Daisy that his deceased wife arranged for John to receive to help with his grief. Unfortunately, Daisy is killed by a group of Russian gangsters. This is the trigger that starts the whole franchise. Daisy was ordered along with a doll of John Wick.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Black, café latte, and white.
C crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

BODY:
Rd 1: With café latte, 8 sc in magic ring. (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (20)
Rd 4: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (28)

MUZZLE:
Rd 1: With café latte, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rds 3-4: sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew MUZZLE to BODY stuffing before closing. Weave in ends.

EYES, NOSE, AND MOUTH:
Using black, embroider EYES on head of BODY of JOHN WICK’S DOG DAISY. Using black, embroider NOSE and MOUTH on MUZZLE of JOHN WICK’S DOG DAISY.

EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With café latte, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rds 3-6: sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EARS to BODY. Weave in ends.

FRONT LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, 7 sc in magic ring. (7)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (14)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around. (14)
Rd 4: sc in next 5 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 5 sc. (12)
Rd 5: sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 3 times, sc in next 3 sc. (9)
BEGIN STUFFING FRONT LEGS FIRMLY. CONTINUE STUFFING FRONT LEGS FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rds 6-12: sc in each sc around. (9)
Rd 13: sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew FRONT LEGS to BODY. Weave in ends.

HIND LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)

Rds 4-5: sc in each sc around. (14)

STUFF UPPER PORTION OF HIND LEGS MODERATELY.
Rd 7: sc2tog around. (6)
Rd 8: slip st in next sc, ch 5, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, working in sc of Rd 7, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc, working in free loops of ch-5, sc in next 3 ch, 2 sc in next ch. (18)
Rds 9-10: sc in each sc around. (18)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Flatten lower portion of HIND LEGS. Match sc and sew closed stuffing firmly as you close. Sew HIND LEGS to BODY. Weave in ends.

TAIL:
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rds 2-3: sc in each sc around. (4) Change to black after Rd 3.
Rds 4-8: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff TAIL firmly. Sew TAIL to BODY. Weave in ends.

COLLAR:
Rw 1: With black, ch 16, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (15)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap COLLAR around neck of BODY and sew together. Weave in ends.
