Fox Keychain

This is another keychain request from my daughter. She is on a run of keychain requests.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Carrot, white, and black.
B crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
10mm safety eyes
Keyring Clasp

HEAD:
Rd 1: With carrot, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (36)
Rds 7-9: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc around, slip st in first sc. (36)
Rds 10-12: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 9 sc, change to white, sc in next 18 sc, change to carrot, sc in next 12 sc, slip st in first sc. (36)
INSERT SAFETY EYES BETWEEN RDS 8 AND 9 WITH 8 SC BETWEEN EACH EYE.
Rd 15: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, change to white, sc in next sc, sc2tog, (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) twice, sc in next 3 sc, change to carrot, sc in next sc, sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog, slip st in first sc. (30)
Rd 16: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc in next sc, sc2tog, (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) twice, sc in next 2 sc, change to carrot, sc in next sc, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog, slip st in first sc. (24)
Rd 17: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, change to white, sc2tog, (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) twice, sc in next 2 sc, change to carrot, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog, slip st in first sc. (18)
Rd 18: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, sc2tog, sc in next sc, change to white, sc2tog, (sc in next sc, sc2tog) twice, sc in next sc, change to carrot, sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog. (12)
STUFF HEAD FIRMLY.
Rd 19: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 19, pull tightly and secure.

SIDEBURNS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With white, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, dc in next ch. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, dc in next ch. (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SIDEBURNS to HEAD. Weave in ends.

MUZZLE:
Rd 1: With black, 6 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc changing t white. (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew MUZZLE to HEAD stuffing before closing. Weave in ends.

EARS (MAKE2):
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rd 3: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (10)
Rd 4: sc in each sc around. (10) Change to carrot
Rd 5: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)
Rds 6-8: sc in each sc around. (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EARS to HEAD. Weave in ends.
