BERNARD'S BATHROBE AND BUNNY SLIPPERS

This is a pattern for a bathrobe and bunny slippers that will fit Bernard. The bathrobe can be made in any color or combination of color. The color pictured were requested by the same customer on Etsy that ordered Bernard.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Bathrobe: Pale pink and shocking pink (can be made in any color)
Slippers: White, perfect pink, and black
D crochet hook
Tapestry needle

BATHROBE TOP:
Rw 1: With pale pink, ch 48, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (47)
Rws 2-16: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (47)
RIGHT FRONT:
Rw 17: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 8 sc, leaving remaining sc unworked. (8)
Rws 18-19: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (8)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
BACK:
Rw 17: Skip next 7 sc, attach pale pink in next sc, ch 1, sc in next 17 sc. (17)
Rws 18-19: Ch 1, turn; sc in each across. (17)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
LEFT FRONT AND TOP:
Rw 17: Skip next 7 sc, attach pale pink in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 8 sc. (8)
Rws 18-19: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (8)
Rw 20: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 8 sc, ch 9, skip next ARMHOLE SPACE, working in sc of BACK, sc in next 17 sc, ch 9, skip next ARMHOLE SPACE, working in sc of RIGHT FRONT, sc in next 8 sc.
Rw 21: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 6 sc, sc in next 9 ch, sc in next 17 sc, sc in next 9 ch, sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog. (49)

SLEEVES (COMPLETE IN BOTH ARMHOLES):
Rd 1: Attach pale pink in fourth sc of skipped 7 sc of ARMHOLE, ch 1, sc n same sc as attachment, sc evenly 18 more time around ARMHOLE. (24)
Rds 2-19: sc in each sc around. (24) Change to shocking pink after Rd 19.
Rd 20: sc in each sc around. (24)

BATHROBE BOTTOM:
Rw 1: Working in free loops of foundation ch of JACKET TOP, attach pale pink, ch 1, sc in same ch as attachment, sc in next 46 ch. (47)

Rd 1: Attach shocking pink in the side of Rws of JACKET BOTTOM, ch 1, sc in evenly around outside edge of JACKET with 3 sc in each corner, slip st in first sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

BATHROBE TIE:
Rw 1: With shocking pink, ch 78, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (77)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew BATHROBE TIE to Rw 1 of BATHROBE TOP. Weave in ends.

POCKETS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With coffee, ch 11, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (10)
Rws 2-10: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew POCKETS to BATHROBE. Weave in ends.

BUNNY SLIPPERS (MAKE 2):
SLIPPER SOLES (MAKE 2):

Rd 1: With pale pink, ch 12, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 9 ch, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 10 ch. (24) Change to white.
Rd 2: (2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)
Rd 3: ([sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] twice, sc in next 10 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (36)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

SLIPPER TOE COVER (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: Working in back loops only of Rd 3 of SLIPPER SOLES, attach coffee in sc #30 of SLIPPER SOLES, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 17 sc. (18)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around. (18)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, (sc2tog) 4 times, sc in next 5 sc. (14)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 4 times, sc in next 3 sc. (10)
Rw 5: Ch 1, holding first and last sc of Rd 4 together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 5 sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

BUNNY EARS (MAKE 4):
Rw 1: With white, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next 2 ch, sc in next ch. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew 2 BUNNY EARS to each BUNNY SLIPPER. Weave in ends.

BUNNY SLIPPERS FACE:
Using black, embroider eyes on BUNNY SLIPPERS. Using pale pink, embroider nose on BUNNY SLIPPERS.

TAIL (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 2, pull tightly and secure. Sew TAIL to BUNNY SLIPPERS. Weave in ends.
