This is the next in a series of Pokemon that a customer on Etsy has requested of me. This customer is even developing his own Pokemon-like creatures. I am expecting that this will be an on-going relationship that will add to the availability of Pokemon patterns out on the Internet. This pattern includes the color lists Oshawott and Shiny Oshawott.
MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis): White, aqua (delft blue), café latte (burgundy), pale yellow (orange), navy blue (teal), and black.

BODY:
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (30)

Rd 1: With navy blue, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (9)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EARS to BODY stuffing before closing. Weave in ends.
NOSE:
Rd 1: With café latte, ch 3, 2 sc in second ch from hook, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loop of foundation ch, 2 sc in next sc, slip st in first sc. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew NOSE to BODY. Weave in ends.
EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, ch 3, 2 sc in second ch from hook, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loop of foundation ch, sc in next ch, slip st in first sc. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EYES to BODY. Using white, embroider highlights on EYES. Weave in ends.
MOUTH AND FRECKLES:
Using black, embroider MOUTH and FRECKLES on head of OSHAWOTT.
COLLAR:
Rw 1: Working around second Rd of aqua section of body, attach aqua, ch 1, 4 hdc in same sc as attachment, (skip next sc, slip st in next sc, skip next sc, 4 hdc in next sc) 7 times.
There should be a gap of 1 sc between beginning and end. Finish off. Weave in ends.
ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around. (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rds 4-8: sc in each sc around. (8)
STUFF ARMS FIRMLY.
Rd 9: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 9, pull tightly and secure. Sew ARMS to BODY. Weave in ends.
FEET (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With navy blue, ch 6, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, 2 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 4 ch. (10)
Rds 2-5: sc in each sc around. (10)
Rd 6: (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Flatten FEET and sew to BODY. Weave in ends.
TAIL:
Rd 1: With navy blue, ch 7, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 5 ch. (12)
Rd 2: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (16)
Rds 3-11: sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 12: (sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog) around. (14)

CHEST SHELL:

Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc across. (8)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew CHEST SHELL to BODY. Using black, embroider dividing lines on CHEST SHELL. Weave in ends.
