Z-RING

This is the white version of the Z-Ring that was introduced as a key item in Generation VII (Sun and Moon) of Pokemon. It is a bracelet that allows a Trainer and their Pokemon to gather the Z-Power required to perform Z-Moves. Water Crystal is included with this pattern.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: White, black, and aqua.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle
Center Release Buckle

CENTER PLATE (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With black, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (7) Change to white.
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 3 sc in next sc, change to black, sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog, change to white, 3 sc in next sc. (9)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, change to black, sc3tog, change to white, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (11)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (13)
Rws 7-12: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (13)
Finish off.
Rw 13: Ch 2, working in sc of Rw 12, sc in next 13 sc.
Rw 14: Ch 3, turn; sc3tog, sc in next 11 sc, sc3tog. (13)
Rw 15: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog, sc in next 7 sc, sc3tog. (9)
Rw 16: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog, sc in next 3 sc, sc3tog. (5)
Rw 17: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog. (3)
Rw 18: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog. (1)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew top and bottom edges together. Weave in ends. Using graph below, embroider logo on CENTER PLATE.


WRIST BOTTOM BAND (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: Attach white in the side of Rw 6 of bottom CENTER PLATE, ch 1, sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 6 Rws. (7)
Rws 2-15: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)
Finish off leaving a long tail.

WRIST TOP BAND PART 1 (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: Attach white in the side of Rw 6 of top CENTER PLATE, ch 1, sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 6 Rws. (7)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, slip st in next 3 sc, sc in next 2 sc.
Finish off leaving a long tail.

WRIST TOP BAND PART 2 (MAKE 4):
Rw 1: With white, ch 8, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, slip st in next 3 ch, sc in next 2 ch. (7)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 3 slip st, sc in next 2 sc. (7)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, slip st in next 3 sc, sc in next 2 sc.
Finish off leaving a long tail.

WRIST TOP BAND PART 3 (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With white, ch 8, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, slip st in next 3 ch, sc in next 2 ch. (7)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 3 slip st, sc in next 2 sc. (7)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Using graph below, sew WRIST TOP PIECES to WRIST BOTTOM BAND leaving a Rw between each of the pieces. Sew WRIST BAND to Center Release buckle. Weave in ends.


WATER CRYSTAL:
Rw 1: With aqua, ch 2, 2 sc in second ch from hook. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next 2 sc. (4)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (4)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (6)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (8)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog. (6)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog. (4)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (4)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc2tog. (2)
Rw 10: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog. (1)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Using black, embroider Water symbol on WATER CRYSTAL. Sew WATER CRYSTAL to top CETNER PLATE over center of logo adding a small amount of stuffing before closing. Weave in ends.
