TMNT MASKS

I was inspired by a mask for a kid in the colors of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I saw on the Internet.  This mask is designed for an adult.  I have a co-worker that is obsessed with the Turtles.  The mask can be made in any color, but I made the ones featured in the picture for my TMNT-obsessed co-worker.

MATERIALS:

Worsted weight yarn
H crochet hook
Tapestry needle

MASK:

Rw 1:     Ch 121, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 39 ch, hdc in next 5 ch, dc in next 30 ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next 40 ch.  (120)
Rw 2:     Ch 1, turn; sc in next 20 sc, hdc in next 5 hdc, dc in next 5 dc, tr in next 3 dc, ch 9, skip next 6 dc, tr2tog, ch 9, skip next 6 dc, tr in next 3 dc, dc in next 5 dc, hdc in next 5 hdc, sc in next 40 sc. 
Rw 3:     Ch 1, turn; slip st in next 20 sc, sc in next 20 sc, hdc in next 5 hdc, dc in next 5 dc, tr in next 5 tr, 12 dc in next ch-9 sp, dc in next tr, 12 dc in next ch-9 sp, tr in next 3 tr, dc in next 5 dc, hdc in next 5 hdc, sc in next 20 sc, slip st in next sc.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.
