These Gauntlets are designed to fit over the hands of Red Wolf Power
Ranger. These are an additional
accessory that one of my customers on Etsy has asked to make to make him to go
with a character called Red Wolf Power Ranger that I made a plush of for him a
few months ago.
MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Red, black,
white, grey heather, charcoal, and gold.E crochet hook

GAUNTLET BODY (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With red, (4 sc, change
to gray heather, 4 sc) in magic ring, slip st in first sc. (8)Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, change to red, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, slip st in first sc. (10)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, change to gray heather, sc in next sc, change to red, sc in next 3 sc, change to gray heather, sc in next sc, slip st in first sc. (10)

EARS (MAKE 2):
INNER EARS (MAKE 2):Rd 1: With grey heather, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
OUTER EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With red, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; holding INNER EARS and OUTER EARS together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EARS to GAUNTLET BODY.
EYES, NOSE, TEETH AND
MARKINGS:
Using red, grey heather, black, white, and gold, embroider EYES, NOSE,
TEETH, and MARKINGS on RED WOLF POWER RANGER GAUNTLETS.
FANGS (MAKE 4):
Rw 1: With grey heather, ch 4,
slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch. (3)Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew FANGS to GAUNTLET BODY. Weave in ends.
HORNS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With red, ch 2, 4 sc in
second ch from hook working around ch.
(4)Rds 2-4: sc in each sc around. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew HORNS to GAUNTLET BODY. Weave in ends.
