LEAF BASE AND SMALLER LEAVES:
Rd 1: With green, 8 sc in magic ring. (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 4: slip st in next sc, (ch 6, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next 2 ch, dc in next 2 ch, skip next 3 sc, slip st in next sc) 6 times.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave in ends. Sew LEAVES to STRAWBERRY BODY.
LARGER LEAVES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With green, ch 10, (sc, hdc) in second ch from hook, dc in next 7 ch, (sc, hdc, sc) in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, dc in next 7 ch, hdc in next ch, slip st in first sc. (20)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew LARGER LEAVES to LEAF BASE AND SMALLER LEAVES. Weave in ends.
STEM:
Rw 1: With green, ch 5, slip st in second ch from hook, slip in next 3 ch.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew STEM to LEAVES.
STRAWBERRY BLOSSOMS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With yellow, 5 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc changing to white. (5)
Rd 2: [(ch 2, 2hdc, ch 2, slip st) in same sc as slip st, slip st in next sc) around. (5 petals)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew STRAWBERRY BLOSSOMS to STRAWBERRY BODY.
FEET (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With green, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rds 3-8: sc in each sc around. (12)
STUFF FEET FIRMLY.
Rd 9: sc2tog around. (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sc of Rd 9, pull tightly and secure. Using yellow, embroider a heart of each FOOT. Sew FEET to STRAWBERRY BODY.
ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With green, ch 10, (sc, hdc) in second ch from hook, dc in next 7 ch, (sc, hdc, sc) in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, dc in next 7 ch, hdc in next ch, slip st in first sc. (20)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew ARMS to STRAWBERRY BODY.
EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With green, ch 2 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 3: slip st in next sc changing to black, slip st in each sc around.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Insert safety eyes. Sew EYES to STRAWBERRY BODY.
EYELASHES, EYEBROWS, LIPS, NOSE, SEEDS, AND UNDEREYE HIGHLIGHTS:
With burgundy, embroider LIPS and NOSE. Using black, embroider EYELASHES and EYEBROWS. Using perfect pink, embroider UNDEREYE HIGHLIGHTS. Using yellow and using lazy daisy stitch, embroider SEEDS.
