CHILD'S BLACK CAT TUTU DRESS

This is a pattern for a black cat tutu dress and headband designed for an 8-year-old.  This dress is inspired by one from Etsy.com.  I am not sure who made the one that this one inspired since all I have seen is a printed picture of the one on Etsy.  

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Black, white, and pink.
G crochet hook
Tapestry needle
1 black button
9 yds of black metallic tulle
Plastic child’s headband

BODICE:
Rw 1:    With black, ch 135, dc in third ch from hook and in each ch across.  (133)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; slip st in next dc, [skip next 2 dc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in next dc, skip next 2 dc, slip st in next dc] 22 times.
Rw 3: Ch 2, turn; dc in next dc, (ch 2, skip next 3 dc, sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, skip next 3 dc, dc in next dc) 22 times.

TUTU SKIRT:
Cut tulle into 1 yd strips that are 4 inches wide.  Fringe on the strips of tulle in the side of Rw 1 of RIGHT-SIDE BACK SEAM and then between every other dc to the side of Rw 1 of LEFT-SIDE BACK SEAM.  Once tulle is attached, sew BACK SEAM together.

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave in end to center of BOW BODY.  Wrap center of BOW BODY several times to bunch it.  Secure the end of it does not come undone.  Sew 1 BOW to HEAADBAND.  Sew 1 BOW to BODICE.
