LITTLE MINNIE MOUSE

This is a miniaturized version of my Minnie Mouse pattern.  This will be the beginning of a series of miniaturized versions of the iconic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Black, buff, white, perfect pink, shocking pink, and red.
D crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With perfect pink, 9 sc in each sc around.  (9)
Rd 2: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) twice, 3 sc in next sc, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) twice.  (15)
Rd 3: sc in next 7 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 6 sc.  (14)
Rd 4: sc in next 3 sc, (sc2tog) 4 times, sc in next 3 sc.  (10)  Change to black.
Rd 5: sc in next sc, (sc2tog) 4 times, sc in next sc.  (6)
BEGIN STUFFING LEGS FIRMLY.  CONTINUE STUFFING LEGS FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rds 6-11: sc in each sc around.  (6)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around.  (6)
Rd 4: 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc.  (8)
Rd 5: (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 4 sc.  (6)  Change to black.
BEGIN STUFFING ARMS FIRMLY.  CONTINUE STUFFING ARMS FIRMLY AS YOU GO ALONG.
Rds 6-11: sc in each sc around.  (6)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

BODY:
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2: 2 sc in next sc, holding next sc on BODY and sc #1 on RIGHT LEG together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc on BODY, holding next sc on BODY and sc #4 on LEFT LEG together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next sc.
Rd 3: 2 sc in next 2 sc on BODY, sc in next 5 sc on RIGHT LEG, 2 sc in next 2 sc on BODY, sc in next 5 sc on LEFT LEG.  (18)
Rds 4-6: sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rd 7: sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 11 sc.  (17)
Rd 8: sc in next 10 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 5 sc.  (16)
Rd 9: sc in next 1 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 13 sc.  (15)
Rd 10: sc in next 5 sc, holding next sc on BODY and sc # on RIGHT ARM together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 3 sc, sc in next 4 sc on BODY, holding next sc on BODY and sc # on LEFT ARM together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 3 sc.
Rd 11: sc in next 5 sc on BODY, sc in next 3 sc on RIGHT ARM, sc in next 4 sc on BODY, sc in next 3 sc on LEFT ARM.

STUFF BODY AT THIS POINT.
Rd 19: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (8)
Rd 20: sc2tog around.  (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 20, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

EARS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EARS to BODY.

BLOOMERS:
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)
Rd 2: 2 sc in next sc, ch 8, 2 sc in next 2 sc, ch 8, 2 sc in next sc.  (8, 2 ch-8 spaces)
Rd 3: sc in each sc and ch around.  (24)
Rd 4: sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 10 sc, sc2tog) around.  (22)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

LEG EDGING:
Rd 1: Attach white in side of Rd 2 with slip st, skip next st, 3 sc in next st, skip next st, slip st in next st, (skip next st, 3 sc in next st, skip next st, slip st in next st)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Repeat in the other Leghole.  Place BLOOMERS on LITTLE MINNIE MOUSE and tack stitch in place.

DRESS:
BODICE:
Rw 1: With perfect pink, ch 23, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across.   (22)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (22)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 11 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 9 sc.  (21)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog, sc in next 16 sc.  (20)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (20)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, ch 4, skip next 4 sc (ARMHOLE MADE), sc in next 6 sc, ch 4, skip next 4 sc (ARMHOLE MADE), sc in next 3 sc.
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc and ch across.  (20)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew back seam closed.

SKIRT:
NOTE:  I randomly placed white spots on the SKIRT.  Once I was finished making the SKIRT, I could not begin to write down the exact pattern for when to place the spots.  So, I leave that to those that decide to use my pattern to their own placement of the spots or decide to leave them out altogether.
Rd 1: Working in the free loops of the BODICE foundation ch, join perfect pink in first ch, ch 1, (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 4 times, sc in next 2 sc, slip st in first sc.  (30)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc.  (30)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc.  (33)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc.  (33)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

SLEEVES:
Rd 1: Join perfect pink with sc in any skipped sc, evenly space 9 more sc around armhole.  (10)
Rds 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around.  (10)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog) around.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Repeat in the other armhole.

BELT:
Using shocking pink, surface chain stitch along foundation ch of BODICE.

TAIL:
With black, ch 10, attach to back above BLOOMERS.

BOW:
NOTE:  Just like the SKIRT, the white spots are randomly placed.
Rw 1: With perfect pink, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook and each ch across.  (2)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc.  (3)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (4)
Rws 4-5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc.  (3)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, sc2tog.  (2)
Rws 8-9: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)
Rw 10: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc.  (3)
Rw 11: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc.  (4)
Rws 12-13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.   (4)
Rw 14: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc.  (3)
Rw 15: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, sc2tog.  (2)
Rw 16: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew Rw 1 to Rw 16.

BOW CENTER:
Rw 1: With perfect pink, ch 6, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (5)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around.  (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap BOW CENTER around BOW BODY and sew together.  Sew BOW to BODY between EARS.

FACE:
Rw 1: With buff, ch 8, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, change to red, sc in next ch, change to buff, sc in next 3 ch.  (7)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog.  (5)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (5)
Rws 4-5: Ch 1, turn; sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next sc, change to buff, sc in next sc, change to white, sc in next sc, change to buff, sc in next sc.  (5)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew FACE to head of BODY.

NOSE:
Rd 1: With buff, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook.  (4)
Rd 2: sc in each sc around.  (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew NOSE to FACE.

NOSE, EYES, MOUTH AND EYELASHES:
Embroider NOSE, MOUTH, EYES, AND EYELASHES on FACE.
