FULL-SIZED FOOTBALL

This is a larger adaptation of my Football pattern.  The football that I made to design this pattern is red and white because the person ordering it wanted it in Oklahoma Sooners colors.  The pattern can be made in any color.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: coffee and white.
F crochet hook
Tennis ball or Polyester Fiberfill
Tapestry needle

FOOTBALL:
Rd 1: With coffee, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Rd 6: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (36)
Rd 7: (sc in next 11 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (39)
Rd 8: (sc in next 12 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (42)
Rd 9: (sc in next 13 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (45)

Rd 44: (sc in next 16 sc, sc2tog) around.  (51)
Rd 45: (sc in next 15 sc, sc2tog) around.  (48)
Rd 46: (sc in next 14 sc, sc2tog) around.  (45)
Rd 47: (sc in next 13 sc, sc2tog) around.  (42)
Rd 48: (sc in next 12 sc, sc2tog) around.  (39)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 39, pull tightly, and secure.  Weave in ends.
