WEDDING DRESS FOR CARE BEAR SIZED ANIMALS

The inspiration for designing this wedding dress was making a Wedding Couple set of bears.  The color of the dress will be completely up to the person making it.  I used traditional white.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  White and Gold
H and 6 crochet hook
Toole
Size 10 white crochet cotton
White sewing thread
Tapestry and sewing needles

BODICE
Rw 1:    Ch 43, sc in second ch from hook and in next 19 ch, slip st in next 2 ch, sc in next 20 ch.  (42)
Rw 2:     Ch 1, turn; sc in next 20 sc, slip st in next 2 sts, sc in next 20 sc.  (42)
Rw 3:    Ch 1, turn; sc in next 9 sts, (2 sc in next st, sc in next 10 sts) 3 times.  (45)
Rw 4:    Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) 8 times.  (53)

Rd 16:    Ch 3, dc in next 8 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next 9 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 4 times, join.  (55)
Rd 17:    Ch 3, dc in next 9 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (dc in next 10 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 4 times, join.  (60)

Finish off.

BELT AND BOW
Rw 1:     Ch 102, sc in second ch from hook in each ch across.  (100)
Finish off.  Wrap around dress at waist and tie bow in back.

CROWN AND VEIL
Rw 1:   With Gold, ch 20, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (18)
Rw 2:    Turn; [slip st in next sc, (sc, dc) in next sc, (dc, sc) in next sc] around.
Finish off.  Sew crown together to form ring.
Cut a 10” by 10” piece of toole.  Sew one corner to back of CROWN.

With White Size 10 cotton, sc around outer edge of toole rounding off corners.  Finish off.

Sew CROWN AND VEIL to top of bear's head.
