FINGERLESS GANTLET GLOOVES


My wife is involved in Amguard fighting as a hobby.  She saw a set of fingerless gauntlet gloves on the Internet and asked if I could make her a set.  This is the pattern that I came up with.  I used Grey Heather yarn for the set of gloves I made her.  They can be made in any color.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn
H crochet hook
Tapestry needle

GLOVES (MAKE 2):
CUFF:
Rw 1: Ch 9, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (8)
Rws 2-30: Ch 1, turn; working in back loops only, sc in each sc across.  (8)
Rw 31: Ch 1, turn; aligning sts of Row 1 and 30 and working through both thicknesses, sc in each st across to seam CUFF.  (8)  Do not fasten off

HAND:

LITTLE PRIVATE


This is a miniature rendering of Private from Penguins of Madagascar from DreamWorks.  I had used a pattern by Wolfdreamer (wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.com/2011/06/private-pom.html) to make my daughter Skipper.  My youngest daughter asked me to make a smaller version of the whole team of Penguins of Madagascar.  Here is the pattern that I came up with.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Black, white, and carrot.
G crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
5 mm googly eyes

BODY:
Rd 1: With black, 8 sc in a magic ring.  (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rds 4-10: sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 11: (sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog) around.  (21)
Rd 12: (sc in next 5 sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)
Rd 13: sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rd 14: (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around.  (15)
Rds 15-17: sc in each sc around.  (15)

DEADPOOL


This is rendering of the famed Deadpool character from Marvel Comics Deadpool comics and upcoming movie starring Ryan Reynolds.  I made this doll as a request of my wife.  She is huge Deadpool fan.  This is not an easy pattern to create and possibly follow.  If anyone trying to use this pattern and are having problems, let me know and I will try to help.  I will give you a heads up that the pouches that are on his belt and leg are the hardest pieces to make.

Paint dowels silver.  Cut hilt out of white craft foam.  Paint hilt silver.  Wrap 2” of dowel with electrical tape.  Use hole punch to make hole in hilt.  Place on SWORD and glue in place.  Place SWORDS in SWORDHOLDER in cross pattern.
