LANA'S Z-RING WITH VOLCANIUM Z CRYSTAL

This is the white version of the Z-Ring that was introduced as a key item in Generation VII (Sun and Moon) of Pokemon. It is a bracelet that allows a Trainer and their Pokemon to gather the Z-Power required to perform Z-Moves. This is Lana’s Z-Ring from the television show. The customer requesting this one had me attach a customized version of the Volcanium Crystal to it.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: light blue, white, and blue.
Sport Weight Yarn: Red and blue.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle
Center Release Buckle
1 set of small snaps
Embroidery floss: black

CENTER PLATE BOTTOM:
Rw 1: With blue, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (7) Change to light blue.
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (9)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (11)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (13)
Rws 7-13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (13)

Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (7) Change to light blue.
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; 3 sc in next sc, change to blue, sc2tog, sc in next sc, sc2tog, change to light blue, 3 sc in next sc. (9)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, change to blue, sc3tog, change to light blue, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (11)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 9 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (13)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Using pewter, embroider circle around “logo.” Sew the bottom edges together. Weave in ends. Sew small snaps on CENTER TOP PLATE.

WRIST BAND (COMPLETE ON BOTH SIDES OF CENTER PLATE TOP):
Rw 1: Attach light blue in the side of Rw 6 of CENTER PLATE TOP, ch 1, sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 2 Rws, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc. (7)
Rws 2-29: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (7)
Rw 30: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Feed WRIST BAND through each side of the CENTER RELEASE BUCKLE and sew Rw 15 to the side of CENTER PLATE BOTTOM. Sew sides of WRIST BAND closed. Weave in ends.

WRIST BAND WRAPS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With blue, ch 19, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (18)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (18)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Wrap around WRIST BANDS and sew together. Sew to WRIST BANDS. Weave in ends.

TOP EDGE OF CENTER PLATE:
Rw 1: Working through both thicknesses, attach white in the side of Rw 13, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, sc in same Rw as attachment, sc in next 2 Rws, hdc in next 3 Rws, working in sc of Rw 13, (2 hdc, dc, 2 hdc) in next sc, hdc in next 3 Rws, sc in next 2 Rws, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, slip st in same Rw as last sc.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

VOLCANIUM Z CRYSTAL:

Sport Weight yarn: red and blue.
Rd 1: With red, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch, slip st in first sc. (4)
Rd 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (8)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (8)
Rd 4: Ch 1, turn; (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc. (12)
Rd 5: Ch 1, turn; (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc changing to blue. (16)
Rd 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc. (16)
Rd 7: Ch 1, turn; (sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around, slip st in first sc. (12)
