PHILLY RAAAWWRR HOME

This is a plush designed using a drawing by the customer’s daughter Jolene as a reference picture. This was one of the easiest plush to make since it is basically a box with a head, legs, and tail.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Light blue, white, and black.
D crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

BODY PIECES (MAKE 6):
Rw 1: With light blue, ch 22, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (21)
Rws 2-21: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (21)
Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew BODY PIECES together. Using black, embroider windows on sides of BODY.

LEGS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With light blue, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: Working in front loops only, slip st in next sc, (ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, skip next sc, slip st in next sc) 3 times, working in both loops, sc in next 5 sc, working in back loops only, sc in next 7 sc. (12)
Rds 4-5: sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 6: (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (14)
Rds 7-8: sc in each sc around. (14)
Rd 9: (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (16)
Rds 10-11: sc in each sc around. (16)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff LEGS firmly. Sew LEGS to BODY. Weave in ends.

TAIL:
Rd 1: With light blue, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook. (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around. (6)
Rd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc. (8)
Rd 5: sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 6: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 3 sc. (10)
Rd 7: sc in each sc around. (10)
Rd 8: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc. (12)
Rd 9: sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 10: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 5 sc. (14)

TAIL SPIKES:

Rws 2-4: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew TAIL SPIKES to TAIL. Weave in ends.

BACK SPIKES:
Rw 1: With light blue, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch. (4)
Rws 2-4: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch. (4)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew BACK SPIKES to BODY. Weave in ends.

EYES (MAKE 2):
INNER EYES (MAKE 2):

Rd 1: With black, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in next 2 ch. (3) Change to white.
Rd 2: Ch 1, sc in next 2 sc, (sc, hdc) in next sc, working in free loops of foundation ch, (hdc, sc) in next ch, sc in next 2 ch. (8)
Rd 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, (sc, hdc) in next st, (hdc, sc) in next st, sc in next 3 sc. (10)
Finish off. Weave in ends.
OUTER EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With light blue, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in next 2 ch. (3)
Rd 2: Ch 1, sc in next 2 sc, (sc, hdc) in next sc, working in free loops of foundation ch, (hdc, sc) in next ch, sc in next 2 ch. (8)

Rd 4: holding INNER EYES and OUTER EYES together and working through both thicknesses, ch 1, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc. (12)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EYES to BODY. Weave in ends.
