Meowstic (Male)

This is a pattern that been coming for a long time. I made the female form of Meowstic back in December 2016 as a request by a customer on Etsy. I thought that he would be back to get the male form of Meowstic shortly after ordering the female form. I had no idea that it would be almost 6 years later that he would. This pattern includes the color list for both Meowstic (male) and Shiny Meowstic (male).

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis): Royal (pale yellow), white, black, aqua, and green.
C crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around. (6)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
Rd 5: sc in each sc around. (8)
Rd 6: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (10) Change to royal.
Rds 7-12: sc in each sc around. (10)
Rd 13: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (12)

Finish off. Weave in ends. Stuff ARMS firmly.

HIP FEATHERS (MAKE 2):

Finish off. Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)

MOUTH AND NOSE:
Using black, embroider MOUTH and NOSE on MEOWSTIC (MALE).

EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With aqua, (7 sc, 1 hdc) in magic ring. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew EYES to HEAD. Using green, embroider irises on EYES. Using white, embroider highlights on EYES.

TAIL POINTS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (6)
Rd 3: sc in each sc around. (6)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (8)
