LITTLE BLACK LUSTER SOLDIER

This is an adaptation of my Little Doll pattern to make a small enough version of Black Luster Soldier is that he can ride on Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to become Dragon Master Knight. This was not an easy task to do. There is a lot of detail to Black Luster Soldier that was difficult to create with how small he was going to need to be to ride my plush of Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: navy blue, yellow, gray, red, buff, and black.
D crochet hook
White and black embroidery floss
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Chenille stem

DOLL:
ARMS (MAKE 2):
STUFF ARMS AS YOU GO.
Rd 1: With nay blue, 5 sc in magic ring. (5)
Rds 2-9: sc in each sc around. (5)
Finish off. Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With navy blue, ch 5, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 3 ch. (10)

ANKLE WRAPS (COMPLETE ON BOTH LEGS):
Using yellow, surface chain around ankle of LEGS.

ANKLE SIDE POINTS (COMPLETE ON BOTH SIDES OF LEGS:
Using red, embroider ANKLE SIDE POINTS on each side of LEGS.

CALF WRAPS (COMPLETE ON BOTH LEGS):
Using yellow, surface chain around calves of LEGS.

KNEE WRAPS (COMPLETE ON BOTH LEGS):
Using yellow, surface chain around knees of LEGS. Using yellow, embroider diamond on from of KNEE WRAPS.

HIP ARROWS (COMPLETE 2 ON EACH HIP):
Using HIP ARROWS at top of each LEG and on each side of HIP.

WRIST WRAPS (COMPLETE ON BOTH ARMS):
Using yellow, surface chain around wrist of ARMS.

ELBOW WRAPS (COMPLETE ON BOTH ARMS):
Using yellow, surface chain around elbow of ARMS.

ELBOW SPIKES (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With yellow, ch 3, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next ch. (2)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew ELBOW SPIKES to ELBOW WRAPS. Weave in ends.

BICEP WRAPS (COMPLETE ON BOTH ARMS):
Using yellow, surface chain around bicep of ARMS.

SHOULDER MARKS (COMPLETE ON BOTH ARMS):
Using yellow, embroider SHOULDER MARKS just above BICEP WRAPS.

COLLAR:
Rw 1: With navy blue, ch 8, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (7)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog. (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew COLLAR to BODY. Weave in ends. Using yellow, whipstitch border along sides and top edge of COLLAR.

BREASTPLATE COLLAR:
Rw 1: With navy blue, ch 9, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew BREASTPLATE COLLAR one rounds below COLLAR. Weave in ends. Using yellow, whipstitch border along sides and top edge of BREASTPLATE COLLAR.

HELMET FRONT PLATE:
Rw 1: With yellow, ch 7, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 2 sc, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew HELMET FRONT PLATE to head above VISOR. Using yellow, embroider top point. Using red, embroider eyes. Weave in ends.

HELMET SIDE SPIKES (MAKE 2):
