Evangelion Units are from the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series. Evangelion Unit-01 is basically the same as Evangelion unit except the helmet and its color. Evangelion Unit-01 is the first non-prototype Evangelion unit. It is referred to as the “EVA-01 TEST TYPE.” It houses the soul of Shinji’s mother, Yui Ikari. It is mainly piloted by Shinji Ikari. Unit-01 served as the flagship model for the series.
