DAGERARON


This is another original Fakemon from the brilliant mind of Hannah Loveday (@kloversight). She has designed several Fakemon. Dageraron is Steel/Flying type. In her Fakemon world, Dageraron is a legendary similar to Darkrai or Cresselia.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn: Dusty grey, white, taupe, charcoal, black, jade, and café latte.
C crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
Floral wire
Chenille stem

BODY:
Rd 1: With dusty grey, 9 sc in ring. (9)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (18)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (27)
Rd 4: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times. (31)
Rd 5: sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 4 times. (36)

Using dusty grey, embroider NOSE on MUZZLE. Using white, black, and café latte, embroider EYES on HEAD. With charcoal, embroider UNDEREYE MARKINGS on MUZZLE.

EYEBROWS (COMPLETE ABOVE BOTH EYES):
Rw 1: With jade, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook.
Rw 2: Working over sc above EYE, hdc in next sc going through first ch of Rw 1, sc in next sc, extended sc in next sc in front of EYE.
Finish off. Weave in ends.

SIDEBURNS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With dusty grey, ch 3, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch. (2)
Rw 2: Ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next sc, hdc in next ch. (3)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SIDEBURNS to NECK. Weave in ends.

SMALL HEAD HORN:
Rw 1: With taupe, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next ch. (5)
Finish off leaving a tail. Sew SMALL HEAD HORN to HEAD. Weave in ends.

LARGE HEAD HORN:
Rw 1: With taupe, working over chenille stem, ch 10, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, 2 sc in next ch, 2 hdc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch. (11)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew LARGE HEAD HORN to HEAD. Weave in ends.

SMALL WING CURLS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With charcoal, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch. (4)
Rd 2: Working in front loops only of Rd 1 for RIGHT WING BODY and back loops only of Rd 1 for LEFT WING BODY, 2 sc in each sc around. (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SMALL WING CURLS to WING BODY. Weave in ends.

SHOULDER SPIKES (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With taupe, ch 13, working over chenille stem, sc in second ch from hook, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next ch, hdc in next 3 ch, (hdc, dc) in next ch, ch 1, working in the side of dc, (sc, hdc, dc) in the side of dc, dc in next 5 ch.
Rw 2: Ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, skip next dc, slip st in next dc, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook, slip st in next dc.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew SHOULDER SPIKES to BODY. Weave in ends.
