Deino

This is another Pokemon from my daughter’s always growing “To Do” list that she has been putting together since Pokemon Go came out. This pattern includes the yarn colors for making Deino and Shiny Deino.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis): Delft blue (Tea leaf), charcoal, black, medium purple (lavender), and perfect pink.
B crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Yarn Needle

LEGS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With delft blue, 8 sc in magic ring. (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around. (16)
Rds 4-10: sc in each sc around. (16)
Finish off. Weave in ends. Stuff LEGS firmly.

BODY:

NECK:

Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around. (16)
Rds 4-12: sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 13: Working in front loops only, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 14: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (32)
Rd 15: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (40)
Rd 16: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (48)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Stuff HORN firmly. Sew HORN to HEAD. Weave in ends.

TAIL:
