LEGO MINION

This is another request from a customer on Etsy.  This is an Amigurumi pattern for a Lego Man to look like a Minion from the Despicable Me movies.  This pattern includes the face graph for the Lego Minion to have one or two eyes.  B crochet hook is only used on the wrench.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  Yellow, delft blue, black, white, blue, red, and gray heather.
D and B crochet hooks
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Velcro dots
Glue
2 black chenille stems

TOP OF HEAD:
Rd 1:      With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5:      Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rds 6-7:                sc in each sc around.  (24)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

TOP OF HEAD EDGING:
Rd 1:      Working in free loops of Rd 4, attach yellow, ch 1, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 23 sc, slip st in first sc.  (24)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

HEAD:
Rd 1:      With yellow, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4:      (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rd 5:      Holding next sc on HEAD and first sc on TOP OF HEAD together and working through both thicknesses and stuffing TOP OF HEAD firmly before closing, (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (30)
Rd 6:      (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (36)
Rd 7:      (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc.  (42)
Rd 8:      Ch 1, working in back loops only, (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, slip st in first sc.  (48)
Rds 9-20:              Follow one of the graphs below to create face on HEAD.
Rd 21:    Working in back loops only, ch 1, (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (36)
Rd 22:    (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (24)
Rd 23:    Working in back loops only, (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)
Rd 24:    (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (12)
STUFF HEAD FIRMLY.
Rd 25:    sc2tog around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 25, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

NECK:
Rd 1:      Working in free loops of Rd 22 of HEAD, attach yellow, ch 1, sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc.  (24)
Rds 2-3:                sc in each sc around.  (24)
Finish off leaving a long tail. 

BODY TOP:
Rw 1:     With delft blue, ch 17, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (16)
Rws 2-8:               Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (16)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

BODY SIDES (MAKE 2):
Rw 1:     With delft blue, ch 9, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (8)
Rws 2-5:               Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (8)  Change to yellow after Rw 5.
Rws 6-16:             Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (8)  Change to delft blue after Rw 16.
Rws 17-18:           Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (8)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

BODY FRONT AND BACK (MAKE 2):
Rw 1:     With delft blue, ch 21, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (20)
Rws 2-5:               Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (20)  Change to yellow after Rw 5.
Rw 6:     Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc, change to delft blue, sc in next 10 sc, change to delft blue, sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog.  (18)
Rws 7-11:             Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, change to delft blue, sc in next 10 sc, change to yellow, sc in next 4 sc.  (18)
Rw 12:   Ch 1, turn; sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, change to delft blue, sc in next 10 sc, change to yellow, sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog.  (16)
Rws 13-18:           Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to delft blue, sc in next 10 sc, change to yellow, sc in next 3 sc.  (16)  Change to delft blue after Rw 18.
Rws 19-20:           Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (16)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Sew BODY pieces together.  Sew NECK to BODY TOP stuffing before closing.  Weave in ends.  Stuff BODY firmly.  Using graph above, embroider logo on BODY FRONT.

LEG BOTTOMS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1:     With black, ch 11, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (10)
Rws 2-12:             Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (10)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.

LEG SIDES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1:      Attach black in the side of Rw 12 of LEG BOTTOM, ch 1, working in the side of Rws, sc in next 12 Rws, working in the free loops of foundation ch of LEG BOTTOM, sc in next 10 ch, working in the side of Rws of LEG BOTTOM, sc in next 12 Rws, working in sc of Rw 12 of LEG BOTTOM, sc in next 12 sc, slip st in first sc.  (44)
Rds 2-3:                Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around, slip st in first sc.  (44)
Rd 4:      Ch 1, turn; sc in next 19 sc, sc3tog, sc in next 10 sc, sc3tog, sc in next 9 sc, slip st in first sc.  (38)

Rd 4:      Working over chenille stem, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 5 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 4 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc. 
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew HANDS to ARMS.  Weave in ends.

Rd 6:      sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc.  (14)
