VOLCANION

This is the next in probably a long list of requests from an Etsy customer of mine.  Before being asked to make Volcanion, I had to intention of making him.  This pattern includes the color lists for both Volcanion and Shiny Volcanion.

MATERIALS:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors in parenthesis):  Red (Yellow), golden yellow (magenta), orange, black (teal), white, and aqua.

E crochet hook

Polyester fiberfill

Yarn Needle

TOENAILS (MAKE 12):

Rd 1:      With golden yellow, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)

Rds 2-3:                sc in each sc around.  (4)

Finish off.  Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 4):

Rd 1:      With red, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2:      2 sc in each sc around.  (12)

Rd 3:      (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)

Rd 4:      Working in back loops only, sc in next 6 sc, (holding next sc on LEGS and first sc on TOENAILS together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 2 sc) 3 times, sc in next 6 sc on LEGS.

Rd 5:      sc in next 6 sc, (sc in next 2 sc on TOENAILS) 3 times, sc in next 6 sc on LEGS.  (18)

Rds 6-12:              sc in each sc around.  (18)

Rd 13:    (sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog) around.  (15)

STUFF LEGS FIRMLY.

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave in tail through sc of Rd 16, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends. 

FRONT SHOULDERS (MAKE 2):

Rd 1:      With orange, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)

Rd 2:      Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.  (6) Change to black.

Rds 3-5:                sc in each sc around.  (6)  Change to orange after Rd 5.

Rd 6:      sc in each sc around.  (6)  Change to red.

Rds 8-9:                sc in each sc around.  (12)  Change to orange after Rd 9.

Rd 2:      Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.  (6)  Change to black.

Rds 3-5:                sc in each sc around.  (6)  Change to orange after Rd 5.
