PLUSLE

This is the next in a very long list of requests from a Pokemon-obsessed Etsy customer that I have.  Plusle is one of set of twin Electric Pokemon.  His twin in Minun.  I am glad that my customer asked me to make both because I do not believe that it would be right to make one and not the other.  This pattern includes the color for both Plusle and Shiny Plusle.   The pattern for Minun and Shiny Minun coming soon.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny colors are in parenthesis):  off white, red (carrot), burgundy, passion pink, black, and white.
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With red, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (9)
Rd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (12)
Rd 4: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (15)
Rd 5: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 6: sc in each sc around.  (18)  Change to off white.
Rds 7-10: sc in each sc around.  (18)
Rd 11: (sc in next 7 sc, sc2tog) around. (16)
Rd 12: sc in each sc around.  (16)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Stuff ARMS firmly.

TAIL POINTS (MAKE 4):
Rd 1: With red, ch 4, 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next ch, 2 sc in next ch. (10)
Rds 2-5: sc in each sc around.  (10)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Stuff TAIL POINTS firmly.

TAIL CENTER:
Rd 1: With red, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (holding next sc on TAIL CENTER and last sc on TAIL POINT together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 3 sc) 4 times.
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Using tails on TAIL POINTS, sew TAIL POINTS together leaving 3 sc on each TAIL POINT unworked.

TAIL BODY:
Rd 1: Working in unworked sc of TAIL POINTS, attach off white, sc in same sc as attachment, sc in next 2 sc, (sc in next 3 sc of next TAIL POINT) 3 times.  (12)
Rds 2-7: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Stuff TAIL BODY firmly.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With off white, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (9)
Rd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (12)
Rd 4: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (15)
Rd 5: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew CHEEKS on BODY.  Using off white, embroider “+” on each CHEEK.

EYES (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With black, ch 3, 2 sc in second ch from hook, 4 sc in next ch working around ch, working in foundation ch, 2 sc in next ch, slip st in first sc.  (8)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew EYES on BODY.  Using white, embroider white highlights on EYES.

MOUTH AND NOSE:
Embroider MOUTH and NOSE on PLUSLE.
