HOUNDOOM

This is the next requested item from a customer of mine on Etsy.  Houndoom is the evolution of Houndour and has a Mega evolution.  Houndoom is basically a Doberman.   As I have been doing for the last several Pokemon, I have includes color lists for both the normal version and Shiny version.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn:  Black (delft blue), gray (white), red, white, and carrot (orange).
E crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle
Floral wire

BODY:
Rd 1: With black, 9 sc in magic ring.  (9)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (18)

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Wrap LEG BANDS around LEGS and sew LEG BAND together.  Using black, sew around center of LEG BAND securing LEG BAND to LEGS.

ALIEN HEAD:
Rd 1: With gray, 7 sc in magic ring, slip st in first sc.  (7)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew ALIEN HEAD to HOUNDOOM.  Embroider eyes on ALIEN HEAD using “lazy daisy” stitch.

NECK COLLAR:
Rd 1: With gray, ch 25, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next 22 ch, slip st in next ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, slip st in next ch, sc in next 22 ch, slip st in next ch, slip st in first slip st.  (48)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew NECK COLLAR to HOUNDOOM.

SPINE BUMPS (MAKE 3):
Rd 1: With gray, ch 21, slip st in second ch from hook, sc in next 18 ch, slip st in next ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, slip st in next ch, sc in next 18 sc, slip st in next ch, slip st in first slip st.  (40)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew SPINE BUMPS to BODY  of HOUNDOOM.

TAIL:
Rw 1: With black, ch 26, working over floral wire, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (25)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Pull tail through TAIL GRAY SPIKES and sew to BODY.

TAIL POINT:
SIDE 1:
Rw 1: With black, ch 8, sc2tog in second and third ch from hook, sc in next 5 ch.  (6)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog.  (6)
