The inspiration for designing this shirt was making a Tony Romo Dallas Cowboys shirt for a bear. The color of the shirt and sleeve strips will be completely up to you.

Worsted weight yarn: White and Navy Blue
H hook
Size 18 Aida cloth
Embroidery floss: DMC #336
Tapestry #24, Plastic Canvas, and Sewing needles
SHIRT BODY
Rw 1: Ch 43, sc in second ch from hook and in next 19 ch, slip st in next 2 ch, sc in next 20 ch. (42)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 20 sc, slip st in next 2 sts, sc in next 20 sc. (42)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 9 sts, (2 sc in next st, sc in next 10 sts) 3 times. (45)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 5 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) 8 times. (53)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 4 times, (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 5 times, sc in next 4 sc. (62)
Rw 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 6 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc) 8 times. (70)
Rw 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 6 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc) 8 times. (78)
Rw 8: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 12 sc, ch 1 (underarm), skip next 18, sc in next 18 sc, ch 1 (underarm), skip next 18 sc, sc in next 12 sc. (42 sc and 2 chs)
Rw 9: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 11 sc, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 18 sc, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 11 sc, 2 sc in next sc. (50)
Rws 10-13: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. (50)
Finish off leaving a long tail to sew back of shirt up.
SHIRT SLEEVES
Rd 1: With right side of SHIRT facing, join Navy Blue with slip st in free loop of ch at underarm, ch 1, sc in side of next sc, sc in next 18 sc and in side of next sc, sc as join slip st, join with slip st to first sc changing to White. (21)
Rd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join changing to Navy Blue. (21)
Rd 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join. (21)
Finish off.
Repeat to second SLEEVE.
PLAYER NAME PLATE
Use graph for letters to create NAME PLATE using Aida cloth and 2 strands of embroidery floss.
Use gaph for numbers to create NUMBER PLATE using Aida cloth and 2 strands of embroidery floss.
