Thank you. It took nearly 2 months to make. I also have all the pieces so that my family can play the game. I use a 1:24 scale Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Amp Energy stock car for my game piece while my wife uses a stuffed chicken.
The pattern is complicated. I used an vintage cross stitch pattern for the blanket. I also have patterns for all the pieces. except the race car. I used orange and yellow cardstock paper to make the Chance and Community Chest cards. I can try to post the pattern, but it would take time. It would be easier and probably faster to just make another one, which I can do but it would take about two months to do, including making all the pieces. But the cost to make it would be near $450. Let me know if you want to go that route. You can either reply to this reply or call me at 417-522-6125.
The letters, did you embroider them or are they crochet? And the community chest did you do the color crocheted and go over and embroider with black after? I bought the cross stitch pattern and I am working on making it a blanket. I am only a couple rows in but I wanted to find out if that is what you did. Also, my blanket came up at 339 stitches on the go row, does that sound right? Thank you. Denise
I designed the pattern myself. I have it still but it is several pages long. I have my own design and production studio where we make things for customers, everything from blankets to plushies. We make the Monopoly blanket for customers for $400. We can make you if you want.
Fantastic!! Congratulations, I love it!!.
