MARIO KART BANANA PEEL

This is my adaptation of the very slippery banana peel from the Mario Kart games from Nintendo.  It is a vey simple and easy pattern.  I only made one but you can get them one at a time in the game or in bunches of three.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  white, yellow, and black
E crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

BOTTOM:
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Finish off.

BODY:
Rd 1: With black, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook working around ch.  (4)  Change to yellow.
Rd 2: sc in each sc around.  (4)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (6)
Rd 4: sc in each sc around.  (6)
Rd 5: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (8)
Rd 6: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (12)
Rd 7: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (16)
Rd 8: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (20)
Rd 9: (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around.  (24)
Rds 10-21: sc in each sc around.  (24)

ARM #1:
Rw 22: Holding wrong side of BOTTOM and BODY together, working through both thicknesses, sc in next 8 sc.  (8)
Rws 23-26: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 8 sc.  (8)
Rw 27: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) across.  (6)
Rw 28: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (6)
Rw 29: Ch 1, turn; (sc in next sc, sc2tog) across.  (4)
Rw 30: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (4)
Rw 31: Ch 1, turn; (sc2tog) across.  (2)
Rw 32: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (2)  Change to black.
Rw 33: Ch 1, turn; sc2tog.  (1)
Finish off.

ARMS 2 & 3:
Rw 22: Attach yellow in next unworked sc of Rd 21 working through both BOTTOM and BODY, ch 1, sc in next 8 sc.  (8)
Rws 23-33: Follow instruction of ARM #1.

EYES AND MOUTH:
Embroider eyes and mouth on Banana Body.
