PALKIA

This is the next Pokemon on my daughter’s VERY LONG “To Do” list that she gave me last December before Christmas. This marks the one-third way through the list. I am starting to wonder if I will ever get the list done. I have included the color lists for both Palkia and Shiny Palkia.

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Shiny alternative in parenthesis): White (baby pink), ice blue, orchid (shocking pink), perfect pink, pewter, red, and black.

Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 2 sc, change to orchid, sc in next 3 sc, change to black, sc in next 2 sc. (7)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 3 sc, change to orchid, sc in next sc, change to black, sc in next 3 sc. (7)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew FACE to HEAD. Weave in ends. Using red, embroider eyes on FACE.

LOWER JAW:
Rw 1: With ice blue, ch 10, sc in second ch from hook, ch 3, slip st in third ch from hook, sc in next 7 ch, ch 3, slip st in third ch from hook, sc in next ch.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew LOWER JAW to HEAD just below FACE. Weave in ends.

UPPER FACE COVER:
Rw 1: With ice blue, ch 13, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (12)
Rw 2: Ch 4, slip st in second ch from hook, slip st in next 2 ch, slip st in next sc, sc in next 5 sc, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, sc in next 5 sc, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook, slip st in next 2 ch, slip st in next sc.
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew UPPER FACE COVER to HEAD along top edge of FACE. Weave in ends.

MOHAWK:
Rw 1: With ice blue, ch 18, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (17)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; (hdc, sc) in next sc, sc in next 16 sc. (18)
Finish off. Sew MOHAWK to HEAD from head attachment to UPPER FACE COVER. Weave in ends.

STUFF THIGHS FIRMLY.

TOES (MAKE 2):
