Dobby was a request of a co-worker. I searched for several days trying to find a free pattern for Dobby. Unfortunately, I came up empty. So, I decided to design one of my own. It was a little difficult because he did not have the same body shape as any of the dolls that I had made before. It slowly came together. Here is the pattern that I came up with.

THIS LEAVES A HOLE IN THE HEEL THAT WILL BE SEWED TOGETHER LATER.

Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew together hole in heel. Glue Velcro dot to SOCK and DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF’S RIGHT ARM.

DeleteThink there is a mistake in the foot and leg. Are the toes crocheted or just seen into the foot! How many rows so I do for the legs? Rest of Dobby turned out great
ReplyDeleteThe toes are made by looping a piece of yarn through the foot to two places on each foot. The legs should have said: Rds 17-38:
