ROBOCOP 1987
This is a doll designed to look like Robocop from the original 1987 movie “Robocop”. This is one of my favorite movie characters. I made this doll for a security guard at the City Transit Terminal. I also made a doll that looks like Robocop from the remake that was released in 2014. That pattern will be posted soon.

Worsted weight yarn: Gray, buff, and black.

Polyester fiberfill

Rd 1: With black, 5 sc in magic ring. (5)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (10)

Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog. (5)
Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew RIGHT CHEST PLATE to BODY.
HELMET:
Rd 1: With gray, 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (18)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rds 5-10: sc in each sc around. (24)
Finish off leaving a long tail. With black and using the picture above backstitch the eye bar on HELMET. Sew HELMET to BODY.
MOUTH:
With black and using the picture above, backstitch the mouth on ROBOCOP 1987.
GUN:
Use black craft foam to cut out two GUNS. Glue two pieces together. Glue GUN to right hand of ROBOCOP 1987.
