BABY SET


This is a pattern for a diaper cover, hat, scarf and booties that I made for a co-worker.  The set can be made in any color combination.  My co-worker requested navy blue and green.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Navy blue and green
H crochet hook
Tapestry needle
¾ inch green button

DIAPER COVER:
Rw 1:    With navy blue, ch 45, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (44)
Rw 2:    Ch 2, turn; dc in each sc across.  (44)
Rw 3:    Ch 1, turn; sc in each dc across.  (44)
Rw 4:    Turn, slip St in next 10 sc, ch 2, dc in next 24 sc leaving remaining sc unworked.  (24)

DIAPER COVER EDGING:
Rd 1:    Attach green at any point along size between Rw 10 and Rw 14, ch 1, sc evenly along edge of DIAPER COVER with 3 sc in each corner of DIAPER COVER.  Finish off and weave in ends.

BUTTON:
Fold DIAPER COVER into desired position.  Working through Rw 18 of the front and Rw 2 of both side straps without catching any of the dc of the side straps, sew button to DIAPER COVER.

SCARF:
Rw 1: With navy blue, ch 11, dc in third ch from hook and in each ch across.  (9)
Rws 2-4: Ch 2, turn; dc in each dc across.  (9)  Change to green.
Rws 5-8: Ch 2, turn; dc in each dc across.  (9)  Change to navy blue.
Rws 9-12: Ch 2, turn; dc in each dc across.  (9)  Change to green.

THUMPER THE RABBIT

This is a pattern for a rabbit that a co-worker had requested for me to make for her.  She is obsessed with rabbits.  She has requested several other rabbits from me.  This is a pattern of a rabbit that looks like a pet that she used to have.  The collar is optional.

ALPHA THE WOLF

This is a character that a customer designed.  He likes to make up his own characters for popular video games.  Alpha the Wolf belongs to the world of Sonic the Hedgehog.  This is the pattern for a plush based on the upper character in the drawing.  He is like Miles “Tails” Prower.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: Gray, white, black, red, charcoal, burgundy, and grey heather.
F crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

FINGERS (MAKE 8):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (3)
Rws 2-3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (3)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Fold FINGERS in half and sew together.

THUMBS (MAKE 2):
Rw 1: With gray, ch 4, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.  (3)

This is the next request from a returning customer on Etsy of mine.  Gigan was a creature from the Godzilla movie series.  The picture that this plush is based on is from the “Godzilla:  Final Wars” series created in 2004.  This is the pattern that I came up with
