TRAMP


This is rendering of the famed Tramp character from Walt Disney cartoons and movies. I originally designed this pattern for my daughter. I have designed other Disney characters. I plan to post them in the coming weeks.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn: pewter, gray, black, white, baby pink, red, and yellow.
D crochet hook
Polyester Fiberfil
Tapestry needle

BODY:
Rd 1: With pewter, 9 sc in magic ring. (9)

Finish off leaving a long tail. Sew NOSE to MUZZLE. Weave in ends.

FRONT LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With pewter, 8 sc in magic ring. (8)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16)
Rd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24)
Rd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (32)

Rds 4-6: sc in each sc around. (40)
Rd 7: (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next 15 sc, (sc2tog) 6 times, sc in next sc. (28)
Rd 8: Holding right side together and working through both thicknesses, sc in next 9 sc, turn LEG inside out, sc in each remaining sc of Rd 7. (10)

COLLAR:
Rw 1: With red, ch 31, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. (30)
Finish off leaving a long tail.

MEDALLION:
Rw 1: With yellow, ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. (3)
Rw 2: Ch 1, turn; 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. (5)
Rw 3: Ch 1, turn; c in each sc across. (5)
Rw 4: Ch 1, turn; sc2og, sc in next sc, sc2tog. (3)
Rw 5: Ch 1, turn; sc3tog, ch 5, wrap around COLLAR, slip in top of Rw 5. (1)
Finish off. Wrap COLLAR around neck of TRAMP and sew together. Weave in ends.

Thank you for the free pattern round 3 for inner ear you have chain one turn two single crochets one single crochet one half double crochet (half double crochet double crochet half double crochet) one double crochet one single crochet two single crochets which is supposed to add up to 12 but I only count 11 or does the chain one count as a stitch to make 12

    1. You are right. There is only 11. I never count the beginning ch as a stitch. Thank you for pointing that out.

  2. hi, i need to ask about the back legs. you should not have a photo of your hind legs, maybe I will understand. I got stuck at Series 8 and I don't know what to do next. celoudova@seznam.cz thank you for the advice of Hank
